DNA.INFO ARTICLE
Cool New Article on Dragon Tattoos by DNA.info:
The article has a slideshow attached that
highlights some of Darren's work, and the blue
dragon on the chest was actually done by Paolino.
Spotted:
Tony Hawk came by the our nyc tattoo studio for a cover-up of the letter
"L" on his finger. Unfortunately what he wanted, the iphone on/off button
wouldn't have covered up the old tattoo properly.
I gave him numerous other ideas but Tony Hawk was adamant on that
Iphonebutton. I'm gonna have to get one of these phones already and find
out why everyone is so obsessed!

New York Times shows us some love:
Click Here for a great little article about our removal from the Chelsea Hotel
by the new Tattoo Hating owners, who don't feel the art of tattoos
embodies "Life Style" or really that they fear rich snobs won't appreciate
our studio even though we've always practiced by the highest standards.
We lose our first legal shop:
Some Bad News for you folks hoping for the Best New York Tattoos at our
original location at the Hotel Chelsea.
I got this location after tattooing was made legal in 1997 after Rudy Giuliani
of all people repealed the old law put into effect in 1961.
The building has been sold and
will now be catering to the upper crust of New York Society. According to
the projext manager, they want "life style" shops that apparently doesn't
include tattooing but does include $3-$5 donuts at the Donut Plant.
Chelsea Guitars was given a pass, so Rock & Roll, good, Great tattoos on
skin by reputable tattoo studio bad. Hmmph?!
