João Paulo Rodrigues hails from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Currently, he lives in Brooklyn, New York. Rising Dragon being the tattoo studio he works in while in New York City when he's not travelling the world. His early passion for the creative arts, especially music, have since been directed into his love for tattooing and painting. JP is most inspired by the connection that exists between the artist and those they tattoo, the collaboration and the life exchange that cannot be broken. A dedicated student, JP has worked alongside many great names and continuously studies the great works in Japanese, American Traditional and Tribal tattoo techniques.
